SUBJECT:

Council Consideration for the Acceptance of Public Improvements for the 2019 Water Main Replacement Project, Installed by Hot Iron, Inc., in the Amount of $1,867,907.46 (1% Project).

BACKGROUND:

This project consisted of installing approximately 4068 LF of water main replacement in the following areas:

1. 10th Street from Rohan Avenue to 4J Road.

2. 11th Street from Richards Avenue to Dalbey Avenue.

3. 11th Street from 4J Road to the West end of Cul-de-sac.

4. Dalbey Avenue from 10th Street to 12th Street.

5. Hog Eye Drive from Turkey Track Lane to Wagonhammer Lane.

6. 8th Street from Stocktrail Avenue to Tyler Avenue.

7. Tyler Avenue from 8th Street to 6th Street.

8. Frontier Drive from Lodahl Avenue to Cascade Drive.

ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET:

There was five (5) change orders associated with this project that decreased the contract by $115,323.49, from the original amount of $1,983,230.95.
