An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 3, Section 3-24(A)(7) of the Gillette City Code to Authorize Employees of Establishments Operating a Commercial Kitchen that are at Least Eighteen (18) Years of Age to Serve Alcohol or Malt Beverages in the Course of Their Employment.
BACKGROUND:
The above provision was overlooked in the 2017 revision of Chapter 3.  The City has received questions from local establishments. The additional sentence in Section 7 specifically authorizes employees of establishments operating a commercial kitchen that are at least eighteen (18) years of age to serve alcohol or malt beverages in the course of their employment.

I move to the Approval of an Ordinance to Amend Chapter 3, Section 3-24(A)(7) of the Gillette City Code to Authorize Employees of Establishments Operating a Commercial Kitchen that are at Least Eighteen (18) Years of Age to Serve Alcohol or Malt Beverages in the Course of Their Employment.
