| Council Consideration for the Acceptance of Public Improvements for the Dalbey Memorial Park Fishing Lake Bridge Improvements Project, Installed by Carr Coatings, LLC, in the Amount of $73,596.50 (1% Project). |
| BACKGROUND: |
| The basis of the project was to rehabilitate and repair the footbridge at Dalbey Park. The bridge was removed and shipped to Carr Coatings, LLC, in Belle Fourche, South Dakota to perform the work. Following repairs, sand blasting and painting, the bridge was reinstalled. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
| The funding for this Project #19PK10 has been allocated from the 1% Optional Sales Tax Account 201-10-05-419-47311 in the amount of $150,000. The original contract price with Carr Coatings, LLC was $76,500. A single change order was accepted on June 06th, 2020 for a decrease in the contract price of $2,903.50. The actual project cost with acceptance is $73,596.50, or 49% of the budget amount, for a surplus of 76,403.50 or 51%. |
