| Council Consideration of a Professional Services Agreement for Design and Bidding Services Associated with the 2021 Waterline Replacement Project, with DOWL, in the Amount of $144,876.00 (1% Project). |
| BACKGROUND: |
| The 2021 Waterline Replacement Project includes replacement of cast iron water mains originally installed in the 1960's. The project limits include the area of 8th Street, between Kendrick Avenue and Douglas Highway and down Kendrick from the Twin Spruce Junior High to 7th St. This area was selected due to concerns with the deterioration of the water system in this area, not having cathodic protection on the existing water main and due to concerns of maintaining a very deep main that was originally installed (up to 12' deep). |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
| The Design Services Professional Services Agreement is proposed in the Amount of $144,876.00. The design is fully funded from allocations from the 1% Optional Sales Tax Fund. |
