| Council Consideration of a Memorandum of Understanding Between the City of Gillette and Campbell County Parks and Recreation Department for City of Gillette Swimming Pool Operations. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| The County has provided lifeguards and performed most of the daily operations at the City's swimming pool for the past six summers. This has worked well for both parties and we are proposing to continue this mode of operation for this upcoming summer. The MOU establishes the duties and responsibilities for both parties for the operation and maintenance of the City Pool. The term of the MOU will commence one week before Memorial Day (May 20, 2013) and continue through Labor Day (September 2, 2013). |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
| The total cost estimated in last year's agreement was $75,000. The County only bills the City for the actual costs. This year, the County is again projecting a total cost of $75,000.00. This includes wages for the total operating period. |

I move for the approval of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Campbell County Parks and Recreation Department for City Swimming Pool Operations.
