| Council Consideration of a License to the Campbell County Emergency Management Agency for the Installation of a Public Warning Siren on City Property at 845 Southern Drive. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| In October of 2011, the Campbell County Emergency Management Agency was granted a license to operate two sirens on City property as part of that agency's public warning system. On April 5, 2013, David King sent a letter to the City requesting another site on City property to expand the system. The letter is attached to this item. This location is on the site of the Southern Drive water storage tank and is shown on the map which is attached. This request has been reviewed by the Public Works Department and has been approved by them for this location. The License is attached and like the previous licenses for the first two sirens, it contains a provision that it can be canceled upon 60 days written notice, should it interfere with City operations or for any other reason. |
