The Country Club Road Improvements Project included the complete reconstruction of the rural section of Country Club Road to an urban section, from just east of Mitchell Avenue to 450 feet east of Butler Spaeth Road. The new urban section includes curb, gutter, sidewalk, pathway, and street lighting. The road functional classification is a minor collector. The section of the road that is east of 7 Bar 7 Lane to the intersection of Butler Spaeth Road was cut approximately 10' to improve sight distance and provide for a safer intersection. This project included 1780 lineal feet of 10" water line, 1080 lineal feet of storm sewer, and street lighting.

The project was designed and the construction management, survey, and testing were provided by PCA Engineering, Inc.

The Notice to Proceed was issued on April 23, 2012 and the Certificate of Final Completion was issued on December 18, 2012 which was within the contract time allotted. Powder River Construction, Inc. signed the final paperwork on June 6, 2013.

The Affidavit on Behalf of the Contractor, the Certificate of Final Completion, and the Warranty are attached for reference.

The original contract with Powder River Construction, Inc. was in the amount of $1,620,846.63.  There were six (6) change orders executed which resulted in an overall decrease to the contract in the amount of $79,739.58. The final contract amount was $1,541,107.04.

The original Engineer's Estimate for the project was in the amount of $2,245,072.50.

The project was funded by the 1% Optional Tax Account 201-1011-419-7401.

I move for Approval for the Acceptance of Public Improvements for the Country Club Road Improvements Project, Installed by Powder River Construction, Inc., in the Amount of $1,541,107.04.
