| Council Consideration of a Bid Award for the City West Parking Lot Landscaping Project to G & G Landscape, Inc., in the Amount of $72,145.00. |
| BACKGROUND: |
|
The City West Parking Lot Landscaping Project consists of the installation of new landscaping features in and around the new parking lot located at City West. This new landscaping includes trees, shrubs, rock mulch, water conservative sod and a centrally controlled irrigation system which will provide water separately to all trees, shrubs and grass areas.

| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |

Bids were opened and read aloud on June 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the City Purchasing Division. One (1) bid was received on the project. The bid that was received was from G & G Landscape, Inc., and was in the amount of $72,145.
The design of this project was done in house by the City of Gillette. The engineer's estimate was in the amount of $76,450.
Funding for this project has been allocated in the Special Projects Account 001-1050-419.72-10.
It is recommended that the bid, in the amount of $72,145, be awarded at this time.
