Council Consideration of a Resolution to Support a Federal Mineral Royalty Capital Construction Account Grant Application by the Campbell County Memorial Hospital to the Wyoming State Loan and Investment Board.
BACKGROUND:
The Campbell County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) intends to submit an application for a Federal Mineral Royalty Capital Construction Account Grant from the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments (SLIB) to assist in funding the Campbell County Long Term Care Facility (new Pioneer Manor). The new facility will be built on the site of the original Recreation Center on Highway 59. The grant request is for $2,000,000 and the CCMH will be solely responsible for the local match. This grant request will be considered by the SLIB at its meeting on January 16, 2014. The cost of the entire project is estimated to be $39.25 million. Construction is to begin August 15 with a groundbreaking ceremony at Lasting Legacy Park during which Senator Enzi is scheduled to speak.
