| Council Consideration of a Professional Services Agreement for Design and Bidding Services Associated with the 2013 Sanitary Sewer Main Replacement Project with HDR Engineering, Inc., in the Amount of $109,050.00. |
| BACKGROUND: |
|
This contract will consist of design and bidding services to complete the 2013 Sanitary Sewer Main Replacement Project. The areas that have been identified and prioritized for this sanitary sewer main replacements are as follows:
1. The main in the alley between Rockpile and Richards from 4th Street to 8th Street.
2. The main in Richards from 9th Street to 11th Street.
3. The main in the alley between Warren and Ross from 4th Street to 7th Street.
4. The Main in the alley between 11th Street and 12th Street from Ross to Dalbey.
5. The Main in Rohan from 10th Street (East of Rohan) to 10th Street (West of Rohan).
6. The Main in the alley between Osborne and Brooks from 4th Street to 5th Street.

| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
|
The cost for this Design and Bidding Professional Service Agreement is $109,050.00 which is 6.5% of the estimated construction cost of $1,676,000.00 for the 2013 Sanitary Sewer Main Replacement Project. The contract will be funded from the 1% Optional Sales Tax Fund Account #201-10-05-419-70-47420 which has $2,300,000.00 budgeted for this project.
