SUBJECT:
Council Consideration of a Professional Services Agreement for Design and Bidding Services Associated with the 2013 Water Main Replacement Project with KLJ in the Amount of $119,989.00.
BACKGROUND:
This agreement will consist of Design and Bidding Services to complete the 2013 Water Main Replacement Project.  The areas that have been identified and prioritized for these water main replacements are as follows:

1.  The main in Kendrick Avenue from 1st Street to 2nd Street.
2.  The main in Carey Avenue from 1st Street to 4th Street.
3.  The main in Carey Avenue from 5th Street to 8th Street.
ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET:
The cost for this Design and Bidding Professional Service Agreement is $119,989.00 which is 6.9% of the estimated construction cost of $1,721,000.00 for the 2013 Water Main Replacement Project.  The agreement will be funded from the Optional 1% Sales Tax Fund #201-10-05-419-70-47410 which has $2,400,000.00 budgeted for this project.
SUGGESTED MOTION:
I Move for Approval of the Professional Services Agreement for Design and Bidding Services Associated with the 2013 Water Main Replacement Project with KLJ in the Amount of $119,989.00.
