| Council Consideration for the Transfer of Ownership of a Retail Liquor License from Richfield Hospitality, Inc., to LOF Gillette, LLC, d.b.a. Clarion Western Plaza, Located at 2009 S. Douglas Highway. |
| BACKGROUND: |
On March 25, 2011, Richfield Hospitality, Inc., was appointed, by court order, Receiver to operate the Clarion Western Plaza and to procure all licenses to enable operation of the property under jurisdiction and supervision of the court.
On December 19, 2012, LOF Gillette, LLC, was the successful bidder at the Sheriff's sale of the Clarion Western Plaza. LOF Gillette, LLC, is now requesting that a transfer of ownership of the retail liquor license be granted.
LOF Gillette, LLC (Lodging Opportunity Funds), has four corporate members. One from North Dakota and three from Minnesota.
The public hearing has been advertised for four consecutive weeks beginning July 19 and ending August 9. The State Liquor Commission has been notified and has approved the application. No protests have been received. |
