Council Consideration of an Annexation Agreement for Emergency Water Service for Property Located at 1800 West 4-J Road and Legally Described as Lot 13B, Donkey Creek Subdivision.
BACKGROUND:
The owner of the property, Ruth Glover, has requested emergency water service from the City of Gillette for the property located at 1800 West 4-J Road.  There is a residential structure on the property that currently does not have running water.  The home was previously served by an off-site well, however the occupant has been hauling water for an extended period of time. 

The property is currently located in the County, adjacent to the City limits and existing City waterlines running along West 4-J Road and Oakcrest Drive.  The City currently provides water service to a number of other properties located in the Donkey Creek Subdivision through existing Annexation Agreements. The Glover's have also indicated they may be interested in City provided sanitary sewer service. The Annexation Agreement, as proposed, would also allow for the sewer service connection if desired by the Glover's. An Annexation Agreement has been signed by the Glover's and is attached for reference.

The Glover's have also indicated that they would begin the steps necessary to annex their property within twelve (12) months from the date of this approval.
