BACKGROUND: |
Bill Ashton and Linda Eldridge are requesting a parade permit for the Veterans Day Parade on Monday, November 11th from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The parade will begin at 4-J Road and Second Street, east to Osborne Avenue. Once again the parade committee is requesting a police escort for traffic control on the parade route. The parade is to honor all veterans in Campbell County and the surrounding areas.
According to committee members, even though this is a State Highway, nothing is required from the Dept. of Transportation.
The Public Works Dept. and Police Dept. have reviewed and approved the request.
