This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been prepared to address questions about the role of the Sheriff and the Police Department in the delivery of law enforcement services in Cam-Plex if it is annexed into the city limits. The MOU essentially provides that the Sheriff will continue to provide law enforcement services specific to the needs of Cam-Plex during major events with the intention of continuing the same level of law-enforcement services historically provided to Cam-Plex during these events. The Gillette Police Department will have primary responsibility for ordinance enforcement, as it does in all other areas of the City.
