| Council Consideration of the Payment for Oversizing Sanitary Sewer Main Improvements Associated with the Antelope Valley Business Park, Phase III Sanitary Sewer Project, to Doud BTS, Inc., in the Amount of $11,390.00. |
| BACKGROUND: |
|
As part of the Antelope Valley Business Park, Phase III Sanitary Sewer Project, 3,400 LF of sanitary sewer main was oversized from an 8" to a 12" main to accommodate future development.
Per Section 7-19 of the Gillette City Code, whenever sewer or water mains are constructed, and are oversized at the request of the City Engineer, to permit more connections than those to be made within the subdivision being preliminarily served, that developer shall be paid for the incremental cost of the oversized sewer or water line at the time the sewer or water line is accepted by the City.
The Request for Oversizing Payment Letter with cost breakdown and a Map of the oversized line are attached for reference.
