This project consisted of installing irrigation, plantings, and mulch in the three (3) medians on Enzi Drive, as well as installing planting beds at the intersections of Enzi Drive with West-4J Road, Sinclair Street, Slate Street, and Shoshone Avenue.  The plantings are drought resistant perennials and annuals designed to minimize the amount of irrigation required while providing variety and color.

G&G Landscaping effectively managed the project with minimal disruption to traffic on Enzi, specifically scheduling construction activities to avoid Sinclair Street during the Donkey Creek Jazz Festival.

The Original Contract Price was in the amount of $189,000. There were two (2) change orders for in a net increase of $5,715 to the contract. The Final Contract Price was in the amount of $194,715.   The first change order was for a plan discrepancy in the required number of sedum plants.  The second change order was to adjust the height of the crest of the mulch in the medians.  

The design and construction management cost for this project was $26,988 (estimated).  Total project cost, design, construction, and construction management was $221,703.   Originally, the total planned budget for the project was $250,000.  An alternative schedule ($28,307 for irrigation along the South Campus) was not awarded.

The project was funded from the 1% Optional Sales Tax Account #201-10-05-419-70-47301.
