| Council Consideration of a Bid Award for Five (5) New 2014 3/4 Ton 4WD Extended Cab Pickups to Thunder Basin Ford of Gillette, Wyoming, in the Amount of $143,800.00. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| These vehicles will be used to replace Parks Unit 35, Parks Unit 70, Parks Unit 120, Power Unit 90 and Wastewater Unit 105 that were approved in CIP and budget.
The recommended bid was not the lowest bid received. The lowest bid received was from Sheridan Motors from Sheridan,Wyoming which was $845.00 lower than the recommended bid. As the difference in bids is less than 1%, the Fleet Manager, Patrick Martin, is recommending that the bid be awarded to the lowest local bid which is from Thunder Basin Ford of Gillette,Wyoming.

| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |

The approved budget amount for the replacement unit is $176,000.00 which leaves a balance of $32,200 that will be used to upfit the unit with AVL, safety/emergency equipment and install three of the units with utility boxes.
