| Council Consideration for the Acceptance of Public Improvements for the Ash Meadows Park Improvements Project, Installed by S & S Builders, LLC, in the Amount of $275,875.50. |
| BACKGROUND: |
|
This project consisted of the installation of playground equipment, shelter, concrete sidewalk, half basketball court, landscaping, lighting, and new irrigation system. The park is located on the north side of Nutwood Court in the Ash Meadows Subdivision.
The original construction time was 30 working days to substantial completion and 40 working days to final completion for the project. There were 5 days added to the contract for changes in the work. S & S Builders, LLC completed the project within the allotted time.

| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |

The original contract price was in the amount of $302,791.80.
There were a total of two (2) change orders with a net decrease in the amount of $26,916.30.
Change Order #1-removed the contractor supplied shelter, added additional sod and hydroseed. This was a net decrease of $10,830.00.
Change Order #2-Final Quantity Adjustments. This was a net decrease of $16,086.30.
