| Council Consideration of an Agreement with Tom Murphy for Consultation Services Through the End of 2014. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| An agreement has been prepared to contract with Tom Murphy to consult with the City of Gillette. During his tenure as first a City Councilman and then Mayor, Mr. Murphy has gained expertise and experience working with the Wyoming Association of Municipalities, the National League of Cities and the Northeast Wyoming Municipal Leaders. This agreement establishes an independent contractor relationship with Mr. Murphy until the end of 2014, during which he will be available to the Mayor, City Council and City Administrator, to assist and advise them in areas involving these 3 entities. For his availability and service, Mr. Murphy would be paid at the rate of $18,000 per year, paid bi-weekly. |
