This project consisted of the improvement of ADA access to Overlook Park.  This included removal of existing sidewalk and the addition of over 8,000 SF of new ADA compliant sidewalk, two (2) handicap parking spots, and repair of the existing basketball court.

The original construction time was 42 calendar days to substantial completion and 49 calendar days to final completion for this project.  A total of six (6) work days were added to the contract due to changes.  S & S Builders, LLC completed the project within the allotted time.

The original contract price was in the amount of $109,286.70. There were a total of two (2) change orders with a net increase of $9,292.84, resulting in a final contract price of $118,579.54.

Work associated with the change orders included the removal of five (5) sprinkler repair bid items, added quantities of sidewalk removal and replacement, addition of a cast-in-place concrete wall to replace an existing block wall that was in failure, and installation of two new swings.
