The City of Gillette annually approves the banks within the State of Wyoming to be depositories for City funds.  The banks have all reviewed and accepted the City's investment policy and have agreed to provide acceptable collateral for deposits and investments made by the City at their bank.  While not all of these banks currently hold City of Gillette Public Funds, this approval authorizes the City to invest with them should the opportunity arise.

In addition to collateralizing investments, both First National Bank and First Interstate Bank are required to maintain collateral sufficient to cover the City's checking account balances with their institutions.

I move approval of the appointment of American National Bank, The Bank of Gillette, Bank of the West, First Interstate Bank, First National Bank, Security State Bank, and US Bank as authorized depository banks for public funds of the City of Gillette for the 2014 calendar year.
