SUBJECT:
Council Consideration of a Professional Services Agreement for Design and Bidding Services Associated with the WWTF Drainage Replacement Project with Morrison-Maierle in the Amount of $54,309.00.
BACKGROUND:
This contract will consist of design and bidding services to replace floor drains within 3 buildings (Screening Unit Building, Grit Unit Building, and Anaerobic Digester Unit Building) at the Waste Water Treatment Facility (WWTF) as well as replace an existing floor of the Dewatering Unit Building to provide better drainage.  These floor drains are not functioning per their intented use due to corrosion issues of the drain piping under the floor slab.

Services shall include developing plans and specifications, cost estimate, and bidding services for the proposed project.
ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET:
The cost for this design and bidding professional service contract is $54,309.00.  The contract will be funded from the Sewer Fund #505-70-75-443-30-43210 which has a budgeted amount of $100,000.
