This contract will consist of project oversight and inspection services for the 2013 Water Main Replacement Project.  The 2013 Water Main Replacement Project consists of installing 1865 LF of new 8" PVC water main within Carey Avenue from 1st Street to the north side of 2nd Street, south side of 2nd Street to 4th Street, and 5th Street to 8th Street.  Installing 319 LF of new 8" HDD water main within Kendrick Avenue from 1st Street to south side of 2nd Street.  Installing 76 LF of  new 8" HDD water main in Carey Avenue from the north side of 2nd Street to the south side of 2nd Street.  Installing 35 LF of new 8" HDD water main within 7th Street from the south side of Kendrick Avenue to the north side of Kendrick Avenue.  Installing 12" HDD within 7th Street from the west side of Kendrick Avenue west approximately 170 LF.  Rehabilitate the existing pavement and repair failed concrete curb and gutter, driveways, valley gutters, and sidewalk as appropriate.

The cost for this construction management professional service contract is $143,518.20 which is 15.1% of the construction cost of $989,081.65.  The contract will be funded from the 1% Optional Sales Tax Fund #201-10-05-419-70-47410 which has $2,400,000.00 budgeted for this project.
