The Fox Park Subdivision is a neighborhood located on the east side of Gillette.  Originally, the Fox Park subdivision resided in Campbell County, but was later annexed into the City of Gillette.  After careful consideration, it has been decided that the recreational park in the Fox Park Subdivision is in need of several improvements. Currently, the existing park consists of a basketball court, picnic shelter and a children's play structure. The main improvements needed in the park include improved access into the park, a parking lot, a pathway system  and a new play structure for young children ages 2-5. Originally, plans were to construct a tot-lot park at the neighboring Morningside Subdivision, however after review, it has been decided to incorporate the tot-lot improvements into the park in the Fox Park Subdivision. The City of Gillette has chosen to hire the services of a Professional Engineer to help in the conceptual and final design of the Park Improvements. 

The engineer will provide services including preparation of conceptual and final design plans, contract documents, and bidding documents for the various park improvements.  The improvements shall  include a new pedestrian pathway, asphaltic concrete access roadway and parking area, park amenities including a tot lot (for children ages 2-5), a multi-purpose field, a lighting system layout and irrigation system layout within the current park property in the Fox Park Subdivision.

Design services are scheduled for three (3) months and construction of the park is scheduled for the summer of 2014.

The contract price for Design Services of the Fox Park-Park Improvements Project is $39,190.00.   This includes providing conceptual and final design plans, contract documents and bidding documents for the Fox Park-Park Improvements Project.

I move for Approval of a Professional Services Agreement for Design and Bidding Services Associated with the Fox Park-Park Improvements Project, with Environmental and Civil Solutions, LLC, in the Amount of $39,190.00.
