| Council Consideration of a Professional Services Agreement for Design and Bidding Services Associated with the PMS 2014 - Schedule C Project, with Bruce Engineering, Inc., in the Amount of $41,495.00. |
| BACKGROUND: |
|
A conceptual report was completed by Bruce Engineering, Inc. that evaluated the overall conditions of the streets in the RC Ranch Subdivision. This report identified a number of recommended repairs to be implemented in phases. These repairs include: a storm sewer system relieving street conveyance in J Cross Avenue, an edge drain system to relieve the high moisture content in the subgrade, service trench settlement repairs, and asphalt and concrete repairs throughout the subdivision.
This Professional Services Contract for PMS 2014 - Schedule C (14EN10) will include preliminary design, final design, and bidding phase services for the project. This project will include a storm sewer system that will begin on the eastern portion of Rocking T Drive and outfall to an open channel that will run from the southern end of J Cross Avenue to the open channel along Enzi Drive. An edge drain system in the area of the storm sewer repairs will be designed and bid as an alternate. Additionally, asphalt and concrete repairs will be designed on Rocking T Drive and Spur Court. |

| This project will be funded by the Optional 1% Sales Tax (Account 201-10-05-419-40-44331). |
