| Council Consideration for the Approval of the 2014 City Council Goals. |
| BACKGROUND: |
As the county seat and largest town in Campbell County, Wyoming, which provides 40% of the nation's coal needs, the City of Gillette is the heart of the "Energy Capital of the Nation." City government--the mayor, council and city administration--bear huge responsibilities in leading and managing through economic boom and bust cycles while continuously providing services that far exceed basic city requirements.
The mayor and council requested that the City Administrator initiate a planning process to develop the 2014 goals for the City of Gillette and present the results to the City Council for approval. |
