| Council Consideration of a Professional Services Agreement for Design and Bidding Services Associated with the Sunflower Park Drainage - Maple Avenue and South Emerson Avenue Culvert Replacements, with HDR Engineering, Inc., in the Amount of $36,610.00. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| This Professional Services Contract for the Sunflower Park Drainage - Maple Avenue and South Emerson Avenue Culvert Replacements will include design and bidding services associated with new culvert crossings at Maple Avenue and South Emerson Avenue. This project will implement recommendations made in the Stormwater Master Plan by upsizing the culverts in Maple Avenue from two (2) 30" culverts to a 3'x15' box culvert to pass the 100-year flow rates, which will eliminate the flooding that is currently common, even during minor storms. The existing 3'x12' culvert at South Emerson Avenue will also be designed to be upsized to a 3'x20' box culvert and bid as an additive alternate should the engineering estimates indicate adequate budget is available. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
| This project will be funded jointly by the Optional 1% Sales Tax Account 201-10-05-419-70-47405 and County-wide Concensus Funding. |
