The owners of the Family Fun Frontier Center (Frontier Lanes), David and Tina Geer, D & T Properties, LLC, desire to connect to the City's sanitary sewer system located adjacent to their property located at 5700 S. Douglas Highway. Their property is currently not contiguous nor adjacent to the City's corporate limits. The Geer's would like to connect to the City's sewer system at this time in order to make the connection prior to the Southern Industrial Roads project which is planned to commence in May of this year. The Geer's are also contemplating the sale of a portion of their property which currently contains the leach field portion of their septic system. A connection to the City's sewer system would also allow them to move forward with the property transaction.

Although the Geer's currently do not need City water service, the proposed negotiations would identify that City water is adjacent to the property and would be available for fire protection only at this time and that domestic water service would be available at such a time when the new Madison Water Line is delivering new water to the City of Gillette.

The Geer's have been informed they will be required to execute a Non-Contiguous Annexation Agreement in order to obtain City sewer service.

I move for Approval to Grant City Staff Permission to Negotiate a Non-Contiguous Annexation Agreement  for City Sanitary Sewer and Water Services with David and Tina Geer, D & T Properties, LLC, for Property Generally Located at 5700 S. Douglas Highway.
