Appointment to the Parks and Beautification Board. |
BACKGROUND: |
City Administration received a recommendation letter from the Parks and Beautification Board Chairman Clem regarding the removal of board member, Jason Ellison. Mr. Ellison's term expires June 30, 2016.
On February 10, 2014, City Administration began advertising to accept applications for this partial term through Monday, February 24, 2014 by 4:00 p.m. The following applications were received:

The Parks and Beautification Board is a seven-member citizen advisory board committed to the timely development of Gillette’s parks and open spaces. The Board’s primary objective lies in previewing development plans and making recommendations concerning parkland acceptance. The Board also pursues an ongoing beautification program, sets policies for 1% tax spending for park improvement projects, and updates policies and ordinances related to community landscaping, forestry, beautification and administers the Landscape Incentive Grant Program. |

I move to appoint a representative to serve a partial term on the Parks and Beautification Board.
