| BACKGROUND: |
|
Samuel Clikeman, owner of Big Lost Meadery, LLC, is requesting a winery permit. He will be located at 106 South Gillette Avenue.
This will be the first request for a winery permit in Gillette. Mr. Clikeman's plan is to begin manufacturing in May and become operational for business by December. With a winery permit, it is permissible for the applicant to dispense other wines for on-premises consumption.
He has applied for, but is still waiting to receive the necessary Federal Basic Permit. Therefore, staff is recommending approval contingent upon receiving this permit.
The public hearing notice has published four consecutive weeks. No protests have been received. The Wyoming Liquor Division has accepted the application.
