A Proclamation Designating the Month of April 2014 as Alcohol Awareness Month.

| SUGGESTED MOTION: |
NOW THEREFORE, I, John Opseth, Mayor of the City of Gillette, join the Campbell County Prevention Council and do hereby proclaim the month of April 2014 as, ALCOHOL AWARENESS MONTH in the City of Gillette.
As the Mayor, I also call upon all citizens, parents, governmental agencies, public and private institutions, businesses, hospitals, schools and colleges in the City of Gillette to support efforts that will reduce stigma, increase community awareness and increase support for individuals and families coping with alcoholism. Through these efforts, together, we can provide “Help for Today, Hope for Tomorrow” for those in our community who are facing challenges with alcohol misuse and abuse. |
