BACKGROUND: |
This project consists of replacing an existing failed single-ply membrane roof on the WWTF UV Disinfection Building. The roof will be replaced with a Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) Roof system.

ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
The City of Gillette, Purchasing Division, opened bids for this project at the City Warehouse on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 2:30 PM. The results of the bid opening are as follows:

Construction Estimate:
The total construction cost for this project was estimated at $57,200.00 and was prepared by Steven Peterson, Utility Engineering Manager. The low bid was $52,820.00, approximately 7.6% lower than the Engineer's Estimate.
Budget:
Monies for this project have been budgeted from the Sewer Fund #505-70-75-443-70-47210 in the amount of $75,000.00.
Contractor's Review:
New Horizons Alternative Energy Solutions, Inc. has been contacted and is comfortable with their bid.
