Georgette Hoffman, on behalf of Sweeties on Wheelies, is requesting a parade permit for June 21 beginning at 9:00 a.m., as part of a fundraising event. The parade will begin at Destination X located at 2525 S. Douglas Hwy, proceed north to Boxelder Road, east to Garner Lake Road, then north out of town. The group will be stopping in several towns in N.E. Wyoming and then they will be returning to Sundance Lounge at approximately 4:30 p.m. where the fundraising event will continue. The fundraiser's proceeds are being donated to the Women's Resource Center.
The group has requested a police escort and the application has been reviewed/approved which includes the police escort, by Operations Support Sergeant Edmondson.
