| Council Consideration of Amendment Number Two to the Cooperative Agreement Between the Wyoming Department of Transportation and the City of Gillette for the Boxelder Road (Overdale Drive - WYO 50) Urban System's Project. |
| BACKGROUND: |
|
The City of Gillette (City) and the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) entered into a Cooperative Agreement dated July 2, 2012 to facilitate the construction of Boxelder Road from Highway 50 to Overdale Drive as part of the Gillette Area Urban Systems Program. The terms of the original Agreement implied that the maximum amount of funding available from the Urban Systems Program was $940,817. This amount was the total amount allocated to Gillette/Campbell County at the time of the Agreement.
Each October, WYDOT allocates additional funding into the various community's Urban Systems Program accounts. Our accrual will continue to grow until the project is bid. This Amendment Number Two provides for amending WYDOT's Maximum Federal Urban funds available toward this project to future accrued amounts, not restricting them to the $940,817.

| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |

The accrued balance of the Urban Systems Program funding, through WYDOT's Fiscal Year 2014, is in the amount of $2,041,197. Our current allocation each year is in the amount of $550,190.
The total Agreement amount for the project costs are $3,735,390.
