| Council Consideration of a Bid Award for the Annual Streets Maintenance Project to Black Cat Construction, LLC, in the Amount of $455,000.00. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| The Annual Streets Maintenance Project will consist of various types of street infrastructure repair, including asphalt streets, concrete streets, sidewalk, curb and gutter, bike paths and drainage channels. This project will focus on areas of the City's streets infrastructure that are in generally good condition, and contain only small areas of failure. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
| Bids were opened and read aloud on July 2nd, 2014, at the City of Gillette Purchasing Division. Five (5) bids were received for the project. The bid results were as follows: Edi Mendoza Line Striping - Bid Tab Incomplete PRC Inc. - $5,725.76 S&S Builders - $7,294.90 Simon Contractors - $12,848.25 Black Cat, LLC - $4,719.25 Funding for this project has been allocated in the General Fund, Streets Division, using three (3) account numbers: 001-3535-431-4330, 001-3535-431-4332, and 001-3535-431-4333, in the amount of $455,000. |
