Council Consideration for the Acceptance of Public Improvements for the 2013 Water Main Replacement Project, Installed by DRM, Inc., in the Amount of $966,448.90. |
BACKGROUND: |
This 1% project consisted of installing 1917 LF of new 8" PVC water main within Carey Avenue from 1st Street to the north side of 4th Street and from 5th Street to 8th Street. Installing 420 LF of 8" Horizontally Directionally Drilled water main within Kendrick Avenue from 1st Street to the south side of 2nd Street. Installing 170 LF of 12" Horizontally Directionally Drilled water main in 7th Street from Kendrick Avenue to the alley west of Kendrick Avenue. Included also, is the rehabilitation of existing pavement, curb and gutter, and sidewalks in Carey Avenue.

ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
There were four (4) change orders associated with this project that decreased the contract by $22,632.75 from the original contract amount of $989,081.65.
