| BACKGROUND: |
|
This contract will consist of design and bidding services to rehabilitate the Aeration Basins and Final Clarifiers at the Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF). The Aeration Basins and Final Clarifiers have many failures with the coating system which will require re-coating. This work includes the removal of existing paint, re-coating the interior steel surfaces of the Aeration Basins and Final Clarifiers including all exposed parts, motor, walkway, and all other appurtenances.

| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
|
The cost for this design and bidding Professional Services Contract is $27,718.00 which is 8.0% of the estimated construction cost of $344,000.00 for the WWTF Aeration Basin and Final Clarifier Painting Project. The contract will be funded from the Optional 1% Tax Fund #201-10-05-419-70-47420 which has a budgeted amount of $400,000.00.
