| Recognition of Officer Foutch as a Recipient of the Gillette Police Department's Life Saving Award. |
| BACKGROUND: |
The Gillette Police Department would like to recognize Officer Foutch who saved the life of an infant he helped deliver.
On August 5, 2014, Officer Foutch responded to an emergency call where he later learned the female was in labor. The female gave birth to the child shortly after Officer Foutch arrived. Upon delivery, Officer Foutch noticed the umbilical cord was wrapped around the baby's neck. He un-wrapped the cord and turned the baby over to clear its airway.
This officer will be awarded the Department's Life Saving Award. |
