The City has received a Wyoming Business Council grant to upgrade the old Lakeview School to support the Boys and Girls Club. The school building and land have been deeded to the City as part of the grant process, which was described in the MOU between the Campbell County School District, the Boys and Girls Club and the City, along with the grant application. According to the MOU, the City will lease the old Lakeview School to the Boys and Girls Club, who will have primary management authority of the facility which will be known as the Youth Learning Center. This facility will provide space for the Boys and Girls Club and other related human services organizations including WY Family Literacy.
