| Council Consideration of a Professional Services Agreement for Design and Bidding Services Associated with the PMS 2015 Schedule A Project, with Morrison-Maierle, Inc., in the Amount of $132,885.00 (1% Project). |
| BACKGROUND: |
|
This project will include the rehabilitation of the asphalt pavement on Boxelder Road from Energy Court east to just past Home Depot. The work will include updates on the water system and repairs to the sanitary sewer. The sidewalk will be extended along the south side of Boxelder Road adjacent to Old Chicago and Campco Credit Union. Miscellaneous existing concrete curb and gutter and existing sidewalk will be repaired and replaced.

| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
|
The fees for Design and Bidding Services of the PMS 2015 Schedule A Project will be $132,885.00. The budgeted construction cost for the project is $1,000,000.00.
Additional cost is included for the development of a construction phasing/traffic control plan and the evaluation of the stability of a modification to the existing retaining wall, near Old Chicago, to accommodate the construction of a sidewalk.
The project costs will be funded by the 1% Optional Sales Tax Account 201-10-05-419-40-44331.
