| Council Consideration of a Bid Award for a New Dump Hill Tower to Collins Communication, Inc., in the Amount of $82,581.17. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| This new tower will replace the existing radio tower, which showed structural damage on the last maintenance cycle. The bids were opened October 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the office of the Purchasing Division, Central Warehouse, 800 N. Burma Avenue, Gillette, Wyoming. There were two (2) bids submitted: Collins Communication, Inc. in the amount of $ 82,581.17 and Turn-Key Technologies in the amount of $101,984.71 |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
| Funding to purchase the new tower will come from the Electrical Engineering account number 501-70-71-440-70-47510. Budget price was $105,600.00 and the low bidder's price came in at $82,581.17. |
