The Professional Services Agreement for the Maple Avenue Culvert Replacement Project (14EN27) will include Construction Management Services, surveying/construction staking, and materials testing associated with the installation of the two (2) new box culverts.  This project will implement recommendations made in the Stormwater Master Plan by upsizing the culverts at Maple Avenue from two (2) 30" culverts to two (2) 2.5' x 10' box culverts which will increase the flow capacity under Maple Avenue and eliminate the overtopping that is currently common in minor storm events.  This project is located where Maple Avenue crosses North Donkey Creek/Sunflower Park in the 4-J Subdivision.

The Contract has allotted 55 working days to Final Completion, thus resulting in a cost of approximately $910 per day or 12% of the Original Contract Price of the project for Construction Management Services.

This project will be funded jointly by the Optional 1% Sales Tax Account 201-10-05-419-70-47405 and County Wide Consensus Funding.

I move for the Approval of a Professional Services Agreement for Construction Management Associated with the Maple Avenue Culvert Replacement Project, with HDR Engineering, Inc., in the Amount of $50,000.00 (1% Project).
