| Council Consideration to Authorize the Mayor to Sign an Agreement Between Campbell County and the City of Gillette to Provide Telecommunication Services for a Fiber Connection Between the Campbell County Children's Developmental Services and the Campbell County Children's Developmental Services Annex. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| The Campbell County Information Technology Department has requested to lease a dark fiber pair between the Campbell County Children's Developmental Services and the Campbell County Children's Developmental Services Annex. The City of Gillette customarily offers the lease of dark fibers in its fiber network to governmental agencies at a reduced rate for the benefit of the community. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
| Campbell County will pay the City of Gillette a one time installation fee for two strands of fiber between the Campbell County Children's Developmental Services and the Campbell County Children's Developmental Services Annex at a cost of $700.00 ($350.00 per fiber). In addition, Campbell County will pay the City of Gillette a monthly service fee of $300.00 ($150.00 per fiber). |
