| Council Consideration of a Resolution for the Approval of the Regional Marketing Development Study. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| Gillette, Buffalo and Sheridan are applying for a Business Ready Community Grant and Loan Program Planning grant to fund the tri-city regional marketing initiative. The tri-city regional marketing initiative recognizes the need for collaborative regional economic development and marketing efforts between the communities of Buffalo, Gillette, and Sheridan, setting apart and distinguishing the northeastern region of Wyoming as a desirable location to do business. The grant request is for $100,000 and the local match is $33,334 of which Gillette will pay $12,667 coming from the City’s General Fund Budget. |
