| Council Consideration for the Acceptance of Public Improvements for the I-90 Landscaping Project, Installed by Chalk Buttes Landscaping, Inc., in the Amount of $97,086.77 (1% Project). |
| BACKGROUND: |
|
The I-90 Landscaping Project consisted of the installation of a new irrigation system including a new water service to provide water to all new and existing trees and the decorative planter beds in this area. The project also included planting of 16 new trees, along with the reworking of two (2) planter beds, including new shrubs, perennials, and wood mulch.

| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
|
The original contract price for this project was in the amount of $88,524.76.
There was a total of one (1) change order with a net increase of $8,562.01.
Change Order #1 included three (3) items:
Item #1 - Added new irrigation in the 4-J/I-90 area for a total of $4,767.80.
Item #2 - Included additional work and materials outside of the scope of the project including work to an existing WYDOT owned culvert and hydro-vactoring and slurry backfill needed to install the new water service for a total of $5,254.21.
Item #3 - Included final quantity adjustments in the project, which resulted in a credit in the amount of $1,460.00.
