| BACKGROUND: |
Fu Bin Lu, owner of Sapporo Wyoming, Inc., is requesting a Bar & Grill Liquor License for his Japanese Steakhouse located at 1000 E. Boxelder Road.
Gillette has a total of four (4) Bar & Grill Liquor Licenses, with two currently issued; one to Buffalo Wild Wings and the other to The Chophouse. No additional Bar & Grill liquor licenses will be issued to Gillette until after the 2015 adjustment or the 2020 census, and only then if we meet the population numbers needed to acquire an additional Bar & Grill license.
This location used to be the location of Bootleggers Restaurant. Mr. Fu Bin Lu is leasing this area from LOF Gillette, LLC, d.b.a. Clarion Western Plaza, and was required to obtain a new address for this location. He is in the process of remodeling the restaurant, which includes some expansion of the restaurant. The second floor area will not be used for general seating any longer, but according to Mr. Fu Bin Lu, will be used for birthday parties.
The application along with the supporting documents necessary to complete the application requirements set forth by the State of Wyoming, have been reviewed and approved by the Wyoming Liquor Division.
The public hearing has been advertised for two consecutive weeks and no protests have been received in this office. |
