Brittany Jimenez Ocampo, owner of Burro Loco, LLC, is requesting a Bar & Grill Liquor License. Currently, Burro Loco, LLC, holds a Restaurant Liquor License. If the Bar & Grill Liquor License is issued to Burro Loco, LLC, then the Restaurant Liquor License that this entity currently holds, will be relinquished.
Gillette has a total of four (4) Bar & Grill Liquor licenses, with two currently issued; one to Buffalo Wild Wings and the other to The Chophouse. No additional Bar & Grill liquor licenses will be issued to Gillette until after the 2015 adjustment of the 2020 census, and only then if we meet the population numbers needed to acquire an additional Bar & Grill license.
Recently, Ms. Ocampo leased the old Radio Shack store location, located in the Camel Plaza, and has hired an architect to design a restaurant area that will include a bar setting. Ms. Ocampo is aware that if the B&G liquor license is not approved by City Council, then she cannot utilize the bar area shown in the diagram for the dispensing of alcohol/malt beverages; however, she can keep the bar for the serving of food and alcohol/malt beverages. Dispensing of alcohol/malt beverages would need to take place in a different dispensing room location.
The application, along with supporting documents necessary to complete the application requirements set forth by the State of Wyoming, have been reviewed and approved by the Wyoming Liquor Division.
The public hearing has been advertised for two (2) consecutive weeks and no protests have been received in the Clerk's Office.
