| Council Consideration for the Acceptance of Public Improvements for the PMS 2014 Schedule B Project, Installed by Simon Contractors, in the Amount of $964,528.48 (1% Project). |
| BACKGROUND: |
|
This project included Pavement Management System improvements on various City streets completed by Simon Contractors. Work included full depth pavement and base removal and replacement on Ninth Street between Gillette Avenue and 4-J Road, asphalt removal and replacement on Wagensen Avenue, Medical Arts Court and 3rd Street from Burma Avenue to Wagensen Avenue, and complete reconstruction of Butcher Court. Construction began on May 19, 2014 and met Substantial Completion on August 29, 2014, which was within the time allotted for the contract.

| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |

This 1% Sales Tax Project was awarded in the amount of $1,083,231.50. There were four (4) Change Orders on the project for a net decrease of $118,703.02, resulting in a final contract price of $964,528.48.
