This project consists of the complete construction of the Pine Ridge Disinfection Facility (PRDF). The PRDF will be located near the existing Pine Ridge Storage Tanks. The PRDF includes procurement and installation of an onsite sodium hypochlorite generation system, water softening system, large FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) tanks, and connected piping. In addition to the treatment processes, the project also includes construction of a small packaged pump station, restroom, office, and warm vehicle storage building, site grading, earthwork, yard piping, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation/controls work.
The City of Gillette Purchasing Division opened bids for the PRDF on December 4, 2014 at the City Warehouse. Four contractors were pre-qualified to bid, and two bids were submitted. Below is the result of the bid opening.

Burns & McDonnell provided bidding phase services for this project, which included a review of the bids. They found no irregularities in any of the bids and have provided the attached recommendation for award to COP Wyoming. The Wyoming Water Development Office has additionally provided the attached concurrence letter. |
